delicate arch in the southwest

Introduction

The earth is in a perpetual struggle with itself as natural forces build it up and break it down. Some of this struggle is internal; rumbling earthquakes, shifting continents, erupting volcanoes. The other part of the struggle is external: rambling rocks, cascading landscapes, and wind-swept dunes.

The purpose of this activity is to identify examples of the natural processes that cause dramatic changes in the landscape.
